Hey, All!
Well, hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Jeanna, the kids and I had a wonderful time here with each other, chowing down and giving thanks!
Hooray for Orycon! Orycon is the major science fiction convention in the Portland, Oregon area. Guy Leotourneau (sorry if I misspelled that, Guy! Correct me in the comment section!) and I were on the panel for Christian SF, and had a wonderful time! I’d still like to know who the fellow was who claimed to have published a number of books with Tor, but he skipped out too quickly and I had a number of other very good people to chat with.
I’m now editing the 1st draft of The Emperor of North America, the sequel to The Tripods Attack! Currently up to page 198 out of 431. Maybe by the New Year…..?
I’ll try to write more later (really!), and note some of the fan/anti-fan feedback I’ve been getting lately….
God bless,
John McNichol

About The Author
John McNichol was born in Toronto, Candada, at the dawn of the swinging 70s...which explains in part why he's such a fan of the Big 80s!
John lived in Toronto for the first eighteen years of his life, after which he went to school at Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio. He met his lovely wife there, and after graduation in 1992 moved to the West coast. Except for a three year teaching gig back in the midwest, he's lived on the Left Coast ever since.
Today, John lives with his wife, Jeanna, their seven children and the Dumbest Dog in the State of Washington in a lovely little house in Vancouver, Washington. He teaches Middle School in the Archdiocese of Portland, and enjoys it tremendously, still.
